First of all download and install the Anvi Folder Locker in your computer Then open it, when you open it for the first time you get this screen.

Here you need to set the password. Enter your password 2 times and enter your email. Email is required to reset your password if you forget the master password. When you enter all the information click on OK. then you get this interface.

From here you can add the folder you want to lock. I already add the folder in this software. When you add the folder in the software you get the option at the right side of the folder. Select the password as shown in the image. Then you get the new window.

From here can set the password to the selected folder or you can use your default password as the password of the folder and click on OK.

Now your selected folder is successfully locked.

2. Using Notepad

Notepad is the free text editor in the windows. To lock folder by using notepad follow the following steps.

First of all open, the notepad paste the following code in the notepad.

Now change Techclarify with the password you want to set and save this file with the extension .bat if the file name is Confidential then save it as Confidential.bat and select type to all files.

Now go to the location where you save the file and double-click on it. When you click on the file the new folder appears of the name Private. Copy your files which you want to protect to the private folder and click on .Bat file. Now you get the message in the black window like Are you sure you want to lock this file just type Y and press enter.

If now you want to access your protected file Click on the .Bat file and you get this window

Here you need to enter your password and click enter. After you press enter you get Pravet folder back.
